Willow Sculpting, Ashford – learn various plaiting, weaving, tying, binding and free form techniques then have a go at creating your own masterpiece using a wide variety of different willows.
Go Ape!, Bedgebury – climb a 30ft rope ladder, zip-wire through trees, crawl through tunnels and tackle high-wire rope bridges on this tree-top adventure.
Action Watersports Water-ski and Jet Ski Centre, Lydd – water-ski, wakeboard or jet-ski on a private freshwater lake. Everyone from first-timers to experts welcome. Special discount available.

Beginner Map Reading and Compass Navigation Workshop, Royal Tunbridge Wells – learn the basics of map reading, from understanding map symbols and grid references through to taking compass bearings, with Ordnance Survey. All workshop participants get 25% off the price of OS Explorer and OS Landranger maps bought in store on the day.
Cidery Open Day, Rough Old Wife Cidery, Old Wives Lees – take a tour, find out how real cider is made, and try some tasty samples. There’s a 10% discount on any cider purchased on the day for Countryside2011 visitors.
ERASURE in concert, Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest – after a four-year break, fans can see the band perform in the unique surroundings of the forest.
Jousting Tournament, Leeds Castle, Maidstone – medieval activities and entertainment for the whole family. Thrilling twice-daily jousting tournaments from knights on horseback, medieval weapons and displays, all set against the backdrop of the 900-year-old castle.
Outdoor Activity Day, Rippledown House, Deal – enjoy a host of outdoor activities including pond-dipping, treasure trail, teambuilding, storytelling round the campfire, and badge and model-making.
