Be a Farmer for a Day at Farmer Gow’s, Faringdon, Oxfordshire – a hands on, action-packed workshop that gives budding young farmers a unique opportunity to enjoy life on a working farm. For children aged 10 or over. There’s a 20% discount when booked through Countryside 2011.
Chalk Downs and Villages, Ashbury – join National Trails volunteer Lesley and wander along the chalk escarpment, with wonderful views across the Thames Valley.
Go afloat in a narrowboat, Heyford Wharf, Lower Heyford – take advantage of the outstanding scenery of some of the most beautiful waterways across Southern England.
