Criteria for Inclusion
Events registered in the Event Directory must meet the following criteria:
Theme
The COUNTRYSIDE 2011 Event Directory promotes events, activities and attractions with a rural setting, or rural theme, which encourage the enjoyment and understanding of the South East England countryside.
Location
Locations will include the inland and coastal countryside, villages and country towns of South East England. South East England comprises the counties of Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, East & West Sussex and Kent.
Timing
Events included in the programme must take place between 28th May and 12th June 2011, inclusive. Within this fortnight, organisers may schedule their COUNTRYSIDE 2011 activities to suit the dates and times that will work best.

Pricing
To attract a good, wide-ranging response, many items featured in the Event Directory will be free. If a charge is usual, organisers are asked where possible to make a special offer or concession for COUNTRYSIDE 2011. If a concession is not possible, or practical, prices may be charged as usual.
In instances where prices are charged as usual, organisers are encouraged to add some extra element to their offering as a welcoming gesture in the spirit of the campaign. Any special offers will be highlighted in the Event Directory.
Insurance & Risk Assessment
Each event featured in the COUNTRYSIDE 2011 Event Directory must have appropriate insurance cover, provided by the individual event organiser. It is the responsibility of each organiser to ensure that this is in place and that appropriate risk assessments have been carried out.
Permissions
Individual event organisers must ensure that they have obtained any permits, or permissions, which are required for their particular event or events.
