Discover the history, folklore and medicinal properties of plants growing in Kent, with Herb Walks at Chilham with local practicing Medical Herbalist Milena Moore.

We are surrounded by plants, traditionally used in food, textiles and medicines. These Herb Walks at Chilham are an opportunity to find out which plants can be made into home remedies and used to treat common ailments.

Discover the history, folklore and medicinal properties of plants growing in Kent. A series of Herb Walks at Chilham, given by local practicing Medical Herbalist Milena Moore.

Common herbs that can be spotted and discussed include elderflower, nettle, plantain, horsetail, comfrey, willow, eyebright, St john’s wort, hawthorn and mint. Your can also bring plants from your garden which the herbalist will identify and, should it possess some, give its medicinal properties.
