Get on Your Bike in COUNTRYSIDE 2010!

Our Event Directory gives details of friendly groups who welcome beginners, more experienced riders, families – in fact anyone who enjoys a bit of exercise on two wheels.
Cycling is one of the most rewarding ways of exploring the countryside, yet many of us can feel a bit timid about taking the plunge or getting back in the saddle.
A group bike ride can provide the answer. Whether you are new to cycling, or returning to it, you’ll find there are friendly clubs throughout South East England who offer a range of “Get on Your Bike” group rides to suit all abilities, from beginners to experienced riders who are keen to get further a-field. You are welcome to come along on a ride and see how you like it and, if you want to continue, only then do you join the club.
The COUNTRYSIDE 2011 Event Directory has details of bike rides taking place in several counties on or before 13th June, many of which are an ideal introduction for new riders who would like to enjoy the lovely countryside, some gentle exercise and a breath of fresh air.
There are “Get on Your Bike” rides organised by local Cycle Touring Clubs in Berkshire, East Sussex, Kent, North Hampshire, Oxfordshire, South Hampshire, West Surrey and West Sussex.
All of these clubs have ongoing programmes, so you can carry on pedalling well beyond COUNTRYSIDE 2011.
