National Mills Weekend is a great opportunity to visit and look round mills, many of which are not usually open to the public. More mills than ever are taking part this year including many working mills, some of which are more than 300 years old. Many of the mills are running special family events and activities during the weekend, including demonstrations and the chance to buy flour and other produce made on the premises.

Our own Event Directory on this site presents a wonderful selection of mills in South East England that will be open for COUNTRYSIDE 2011. It’s a fascinating variety. Browse the Directory see what’s in store.
