At Wycombe Air Park near Marlow is Booker Gliding Club where you can try a flight in a two seater training gliding with one of the club’s fully qualified instructors. The club offers a range of courses from introductory to intensive designed to get you solo in the shortest possible time. If all you want to do is to try a single flight, with the chance to take control and sample the delights of the sport, then that’s possible too. Booker Gliding Club also welcomes groups.
Anyone can enjoy gliding; it’s not much more difficult than driving a car, but the view’s far better.
If you want to give gliding a try then don’t forget to enter our competition this week. You could win a British Gliding Association voucher for a trial lesson for one adult, at a choice of any participation gliding centres.
