Sounds just right for this weather!

Nordic Walking will be featured in the COUNTRYSIDE 2011 fortnight – but it sounds just the thing for snowy or wintry weather.

Nordic walking is walking with poles, similar to ski poles, which are used to propel the body forward. Its origins are in cross-country skiing, initially used in Finland for off season training. It’s a low stress exercise technique said to be ideal for toning muscles and building fitness at every level. Taster Sessions are running now at Fleet in Hampshire.
