There are plenty of activities planned in the South East region this bank holiday weekend from rock pooling to exploring ancient English woodland.

Take the family to explore the rock pools and submerged forest on Pett Level beach, near Rye in East Sussex this Monday 03 May from 10.30am to noon. At low tide a number of rocks become accessible making the beach ideal for rock pooling. For more information visit www.wildrye.info
The Woodland Nature Trail at Sedlescombe
Sedlescombe Organic Vineyard’s Bluebell Walk is now open for visitors. This beautiful walk through their ancient English woodland carpeted with bluebells is a must see for anyone out and about in ’1066 Country’ near Hastings in May. The walk is part of the Vineyard & Woodland Nature Trail and Wine tasting. Self guided trail and tasting is £4.50 per adult, children free. Open 10.30am to 6pm daily.
